Missed Appointments Policy

Short Notice Cancellations and Failed Appointments:

Each appointment is a reserved time for you and you only.  Each time appointments are not kept; other patients in need of care are delayed in their treatment.  The majority of patients value their time and ours, and schedule their appointments accordingly.  However, for the few patients who cancel their appointments without 48 hours notice, or who completely fail to show, they may be assessed a $40.00 or more fee.  We reserve the right to decline future appointments unless paid in full.  We may also require your next visit be secured with a credit card deposit.

Since many appointments are reserved for patients well in advance, (6 month recall appointments) we will call approximately 24 hours in advance of your appointment as a “friendly reminder”.  However, this call is to confirm your appointment, it is not meant to be your “last opportunity” to reschedule for another day or time.  We realize certain situations arise that do not permit you to give a 48 hour notice.  These situations will be considered on an individual basis at the doctors’ discretion.
