GURU is a Windows-based patient education software that provides interactive and customizable patient education. The software application can be used for patient education during the many stages of the care delivery process. GURU gives dentists an additional tool when discussing various treatment options or the consequences of nontreatment. The software provides many preloaded animations and images ready to be used for patient education. It gives clinicians the freedom to import, export, save images to a patient file, and draw or add text to images.
